Road Trip : Day 1

So I began a road trip today at approximately 1pm. The journey will take my friend Dan and me across the United States starting in southern New Jersey and ending up in San Diego. It will hardly stop there, as we will be traveling and stopping up along the California coast line. Then traveling back to New Jersey with plenty more destinations along the way.

Today consisted of eating a Pat's Steak in the fairly familiar city of Philadelphia. Then a long 5 hour or so drive across the state of Pennsylvania to Pittsburgh. We are using the couch surfing website along with the trip, which means we will be staying at people's houses along the way as often as possible. We went out for Indian food tonight with Francesca, our awesome host. It was my first time eating Indian food and I have to say, pretty damn good, pretty damn spicy.

Tomorrow we will be taking a one hour tour of Pittsburgh in an Amphibious WWII Tank. I'm not sure if that could sound any more awesome.
